Aidan focused his graduate studies on the economic and legal intricacies of private equity buyout transactions. He believes innovation is necessary in even the most established fields and found his motivation in the culture of entrepreneurship.

Co-Founder and Coordinator, 2010-2011

  • Coordinated 12 member team in planning of six major events in 2010/11 academic year. Final event attended by over 250 students

  • Increased non-executive membership from zero to 300+ in one year

  • Negotiated partnerships with the Boston Consulting Group, IBM, the University of Copenhagen, and the Danish government

Statewide Coordinator, 2004-2005

Team representing interests of Cal Poly students to the California State Legislature and other elected officials

  • Saved CSU students $107 million in 2006 by successfully lobbying Governor Schwarzenegger and the state legislature to freeze student fees, thereby reversing a 8% fee increase

  • Awarded Most Outstanding Executive Staff Member of the Year for work reducing student fees
